Acupuncture, an Ancient Treatment for a Current Problem

Acupuncture is also known as Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) treatment which is used to improve health and well-being. It is one of oldest modalities dating back to at least 3000 years. Acupuncture treatment involves very small needles called Acupuncture Needles inserted into very precise points on the human body. These precise points have been discovered over 3000 years of experience and are thought to anyone who wants to become Acupuncturist and receive Acupuncture license.

After your 90 Minutes Initial Visit appointment with Acupuncturist. You will be booked for 30 Minutes, 45 Minutes, 60 Minutes or 90 Minutes sessions, depending on your condition and health goals. These sessions will help improving current illnesses and injuries, stop recurrence of illnesses or new illnesses and improve your general health condition.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, health is dependent on the body’s motivating energy, known as Qi (pronounced “chee”). The flow of Qi can be regulated throughout the body using various techniques, such as acupuncture, moxibustion, cupping, and using Chinese patent herbs.

Normally, Qi should flow in a smooth and balanced way through a series of organ meridians or channels. Illness results when there is blockage in this energy flow or if there is inadequate supply of Qi. A number of factors can disturb the flow of Qi, some of which includes Dysfunctional emotional states (anxiety, stress, anger, fear or grief), Poor Nutrition, Hereditary Factors, Infections, Trauma
